The Two Oceans Tuna Derby 2020

This year, the 17th annual (Mini) Two Oceans Tuna Derby will be held at Atlantic Boat Club from 13-15 November 2020.

The Two Oceans Tuna Derby has become one of the biggest and most eagerly-awaited sportfishing events in the Cape fishing calendar, and 2020 will expect.

We will be targeting the 3 weekends from 13th of November (new moon) looking for at least 1 day in any of the 3 weekends to constitute a comp.

We will first open up to only members boats with invited guest anglers due to COVID number restrictions and see where we end up.

Tuna over 50kg will be eligible to weigh and only one prize per boat, we will only have an open category. Entry is R200 per angler and current prizes are 1st R20k, 2nd R5k and 3rd R3k…. usual auctions and Calcutta.

COVID rules and regs are going to make opening and closing functions impossible so we are looking to try and get outside for auctions and prizes…. as plans develop we will make further announcements.
