We take pleasure inviting you to participate in this year’s tournament during the prime Tuna fishing season.
The TUNA MASTERS is a unique concept which allows us to host a CHAMPIONSHIP tournament incorporating 3 different categories:
- INTERNATIONAL teams fishing 37kg line (limited to 5 teams)
- CORPORATE SPORTING teams fishing 37kg line (limited to 16 teams)
- INVITATIONAL ELITE teams with a selection criteria of anglers that have represented the PROTEA’S and SADSAA fishing 10kg line (limited to 4 teams).
This format is also a great way to enter your sports team as a business corporate team, or if your sports team is from another country, you could enter as an international team. The championship format will be fished with a maximum of the best 3 weather days within the allocated period, with the first possible fishing day being Tuesday, 21 April.
The entry fee is R2,000 + R300 VAT = R2,300 per angler which includes lucky draws / opening & closing functions / tournament apparel / evening meals / light breakfast / complimentary weigh-in snacks & drinks / daily and overall prizes. We are again planning for a sit down meal at the Lookout Hout Bay before the prize giving in the club.
All entries received on or before 31 March 2020 will receive a complimentary entry for each angler into a championship raffle. This will be drawn at the Opening Function.
